Gizem Erdem is an artist and illustrator from Ankara, Turkey, currently based in Cologne. Her artistic focus lies in figurative illustrations, character designs, print design and positive abstractions of everyday life. Her commercial work includes album and book covers, event posters, and editorial illustrations. Over the years, Gizem has collaborated with companies such as Wacom, Netflix, and The Guardian.
In her free artistic work, she works with a variety of media and experiments with new artistic forms. Her creations include murals, sculptures, paintings, woven rugs, and digital art. In recent years, she has increasingly focused on large-scale works like murals, successfully designing facades as part of prominent projects in various German cities.
